Spin on an Art Yarn Spin-e-kube e-spinner! Our home made spinning wheels have controls in the front of the machine and can operate in either scotch or irish tension setup. These wheels have a non-traditional flyer, with a 3" opening for extreme yarn. With the included reducer set, they are suitable for almost any yarn imaginable. You can choose a wood base is made from Poplar,Oak, or Walnut. Poplar can also be stained a walnut color or a purple color. The 3d printed e-spinner colors are available in metallic shades of Red, Orange, Yellow, Green. Blue, Pink, Purple, Brown, Black, White, Copper, Silver, or Rainbow.

PLA is a plant based plastic, and is available in many colors. We use silk PLA which gives the Spin-e-Kube its’ metallic appearance.The main yoke of the flyer is 3d printed, but the center of the flyer is a steel shaft, with a 3 inch orifice. This is perfect for most art yarn, as well as knitting and crochet size yarns. The Flyer arms are made of wood. There are 12 PLA hooks included.End Supports/ Maidens are 3d Printed PLA plastic with sealed bearings to prevent wear. No grease or oiling required.Each machine has 3 included bobbins,Art yarn holds about 16 oz of spun fiber. The center shaft is made from CPVC and glued to the PLA. By securely attaching the PLA spinner parts to a sturdy wood base we minimize the wheel travelling or vibrating. This is also accomplished by the rubber feet on the bottom. This ensures a smooth spin and prevents the wheel from “walking” off the table. Our wood bases are from Shapard’s Lumberyard and are available in many wood varieties. Bases are expected to contain areas with knots, streaks, and the occasional wood crack, insect hole, saw mark, or ding. These are considered part of the unique design of your base and will not affect the mechanics of the spinner. About the motor and electronics – Our motor is a permanent magnet motor that reaches a maximum speed of about 1400 rpm. It is expected to last at least 1 year under normal daily spinning conditions. The components are tested and assembled in house, and require no maintenance, as they are sealed inside and attached to the base.

Please be allergen aware and use caution when operating this machine. Keep the machine away from heat sources and open flame, and avoid prolonged exposure of the machine to sunlight.

International shipping is available at cost, please message for a quote. We are committed to being as environmentally friendly as we can be, and all of our packaging materials are either recycled/reused from packages we receive, or recyclable. Generally we ship UPS which takes 3-5 days.
